Will Democrats believe their own eyes? Will they accept physical evidence that some of their elected leaders have been following a false prophet? Well, there is one way to find out.
First, here is a news report from the Associated Press dated June 24, 2008:

Now, here is the reality as of June 21, 2018:
“The company said it will extend deployment of its nuclear-powered ice-breakers in the Bay for at least the first 10 days of July and go about dislodging ships stuck in the ice.”
The above-quoted 2008 AP report ends with this:
“But Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., committee chairman, said, ‘Dr. Hansen was right. Twenty years later, we recognize him as a climate prophet.'”
Scientists are not prophets, and healthy skepticism is a part of Science. Perhaps now Democrats will understand that . . . if they will believe their own eyes.
