Hitler Was Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize Before Obama Got It

That’s right, Adolph Hitler was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1939. Obviously he didn’t get it. The nomination was supposed to be a joke but nobody thought it was funny.

And then, 70 years later, Barack Obama, a man with exactly zero accomplishments on the world stage, was not only nominated, he got it. So there Adolph.

The interesting thing about this story is that, while the man who nominated Hitler was heaped with scorn, the man who nominated Obama was tossed from the Chairmanship of the Peace Prize Committee.

It’s kinda karma. The guy who nominates Hitler gets laughed at and the guy who nominates Obama gets fired.

Seems about right.
