Yeah, it must be tough to be a female politician in the southern USA.
In an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd, Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu had this to say about the South:
“It’s not always been a good place for women to be able to present ourselves. It’s more of a conservative place.”
The South has been a good place for South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley to present herself. Perhaps that is because she is a conservative.
Gee, do you suppose that, if Landrieu is having trouble in the South, then it is because there is a problem with her?
