Mankind is doomed!

Mankind is doomed! That is one way to interpret a report that the IPCC issued on 07 October 2018.

Here is a headline from the CNN website:

Now, here is a statement that the IPCC made at an earlier time:

“In climate research and modelling, we should recognise that we are dealing with a coupled non-linear chaotic system, and therefore that the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible.”

Sure, Mankind’s contribution to global warming should be eliminated as much as feasibly possible. Still, the IPCC should heed its own words that “the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible.”

How is it that the USA – which isn’t a party of the Paris Accord – is reducing its carbon footprint while two nations that are parties of the Paris Accord are increasing their carbon footprint?
