This has become wearying. Inspector General for the Department of Justice and FBI Michael Horowitz has conveyed a letter to Congress announcing the release date for his report on the DoJ and FBI handling of the Investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified documents and information. The report will be made public a week from today (on Thursday June 14th 2018). IG Huber will appear before the Senate Select Committee on the Judiciary (which exercises oversight on the DoJ/FBI) to answer questions they may have the following Monday (June 18th).

Inspector General Michael Horowitz has informed the Senate Judiciary Committee (full pdf below) the anticipated final publication date for the IG report on how the Obama DOJ and FBI handled the Clinton investigation will be Thursday June 14th, 2018.
The fact-based draft report to the principals was submitted on May 16th. Following the two week period for input from the principals outlined in the draft report, the IG “referencer” within the DOJ-Office of Inspector General then determines which responses will be added for the final report. The report is anticipated to be 400 to 500 pages.
If there is so much as a single redaction in the final report I will renew my call on the President to order the Attorney General, and any Acting Attorney General who may succeed him, to declassify and publish the full report without redactions on pain of immediate termination for cause (insubordination).
