The LSM silence on the Open Societies Foundation [read as cutout for George Soros, a political non-profit of which Lois Lerner seems to have approved] documents is noteworthy, if not surprising. By the dog bites man standard one could assert that it is not newsworthy. Certainly the press Democratic Operatives with By Lines have been working assiduously to deny the links when they must report on the data revealed. Take for instance:
George Soros rises again
The billionaire, who [wanted the public to believe he] had dialed back his giving, has committed more than $25 million to supporting Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates and causes.
By KENNETH P. VOGEL, Politico
Soros has donated or committed more than $25 million to boost Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates and causes, according to Federal Election Commission records and interviews with his associates and Democratic fundraising operatives. And some of his associates say they expect Soros, who amassed a fortune estimated at $24.9 billion through risky currency trades, to give even more as Election Day nears.
This is but one of the OSF “initiatives” revealed in the dump of documents purloined from the foundation’s servers.
Whoever was behind the hack seems to have taken note of, and seems to be emulating, the late Andrew Breitbart’s flourish for timing releases to confound the news cycle, and we should thus expect more purloined documents to hit right about the time the Damage Control efforts have tamped out the open flames of the scandal.
