A while ago, I said that there are a few things going on in my personal life that have been distracting me from blogging. Well, I think it’s time to unveil one of the things I’ve been working on when I haven’t been writing.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you Wizbang Blue, version 2.0:

Now I only need a name. “Wizbang Blue” is certainly tempting, but I think not. My first thoughts were “Rufe” or “Jill.”
Those were American code names for two Japanese aircraft from World War II. “Rufe” was a floatplane variant of the Zero, and “Jill” was a torpedo bomber. Both were made by the Nakajima Aircraft Company, which after the war was folded into Fuji Heavy Industries, the parent company of Subaru.
But that might be a bit convoluted.
“Blue Bomber” is another possibility, as she’s got plenty of pep and handles rather well. But it doesn’t sing to me.
My old friend (and occasional commenter) Darby seriously annoyed me by suggesting a really, really good name — “Serenity.” And that’s a strong possibility.
Anyone have any other suggestions?
