Thursday Night Round Up

“Communism only works in Heaven where they don’t need it, and in Hell where they already have it.” – Ronald Reagan

What’s with people the last couple of days anyway?

  • Little Kid Threatens to Kill Bush On video. I’m sure his parents are proud. The video has since been banned from the sites where it was hosted. From reading the threads on other blogs apparently he wanted Bush dead so Barack Obama could be put in his place. Typical public school education didnt’ bother to teach him Cheney would replace Bush. I’m sure that would go over well in his parent’s home too. (Via My Two Cents Count Too)
  • Found the above mentioned video, very strong language warning: This Kid Needs Help

  • Denmark wants to know Why we’re bother having an election at all? (Via Charming Just Charming)
  • Gun Free Zones Are Not Safe Taking guns out of the hands of the average citizen does not protect them, it simply makes them easy targets. (Via Conservative Libertarian Outpost)
  • Environmentalist reveals true agenda Environmentalist reveals true agenda. Bolivia’s President Evo Morales told the adoring crowd that “if we want to save our planet earth, to save life, to save mankind, we have a duty to put an end to the capitalist system.”
Morales elaborated on that by calling for an end to “unbridled industrial development, extraction of natural resources, excessive consumption of goods and accumulation of waste.”
More conveniently, he also demanded that trillions of dollars from the West be diverted to places like Bolivia, “to repair the earth.” (Via IBD)
  • Malaise A “why bother?” economy has been created in Britain which has left thousands with no motivation to work, a report published today concludes. Successive governments have encouraged a welfare culture that has left every family facing a £1,300 bill because the poor stay poor, it claims. (Via Liberty Pundit)
  • NC Republicans to RNC: Stay out of our business Republicans in North Carolina are not happy with John McCain’s politically correct decision not to mention Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and they’re rejecting his call to cancel their advertisement. (Via LGF)
  • Pelosi to Bush Stop Stockpiling Oil So, we stop stockpiling oil for emergency reserves, we still have that annoying little problem of not enough refineries to produce gasoline. By the way, she was told no. (Via Reuters)
  • Get Over It Scalia to Bush Vs Gore Conspiracy Wackos “I say nonsense,” Scalia said, when asked about critics who say the 5-4 ruling was based on politics and not justice. “Get over it. It’s so old by now.” (Via Reuters)
  • Fixed Link Wonder which Bible she was reading from? Pelosi said, “The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.’ On this Earth Day, and every day, let us pledge to our children, and our children’s children, that they will have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature.” The comments section is lots of fun too. • The NC GOP Wright Ad
Kim Kardashian like, is endorsing, like Barack Obama.
