Even for The Drudge Report this is stupid…
Someone with too much time on there hands decided to search the official Kerry website for profanity (Via Atomz Search), and found 7 articles from press section of the Kerry web site which are laced with profanity. None of the 7 articles were written by or for the Kerry campaign. The articles are reprints of stories in Rolling Stone, Atlantic Monthly, etc…
Developing a headache….
I saw that. Did Drudge get hold of a bad bottle of Heinz ketchup, or what?
Talk about splitting hairs there, clark.
The articles are his own words, wherein he uses expletives liberally (how ironic).
I guess colorful language is fine, as long as its an openly liberal Senator. But if a Republican or conservative slips one in here or there, WHOA! The *hypocrisy* of the moralists comes shining through!
Bill Clinton lies about sex of all things, to the entire country, but we all know Dems are lying morally bankrupt so it doesn’t matter. Anyone else who reveals themselves to be human and has issues that they either do not lie about opening if asked or admit when discovered are evil, should be taken off the air or thrown out of office.
What a country!
Neo …
Don’t get your skivvies in a knot. Remember the bit four years ago where GeeDubya, not knowing the mic was on (did Reagan teach him nothing?) called a NY Times reporter an expletive, and Big Dick Cheney affirmed? It was reported. It passed with little fanfare. Nobody gave a crap. There have been several other incidents where Bush’s salty language was reported and it never made any kind of splash. The only people who think this kind of thing is a big deal are people who are (a) looking for a “story” or (b) engaging in some kind of partisan attack. Bush and Kerry are both f**kwits and both are familiar with all of the usual four-letter words. I doubt either of them will utter any at a state dinner with the Queen and embarrass the refined sensibilities of the American cultural elite.
P.S. – The irony of this post is that I had to censor the expletive used above before the comment would be posted. *LOL*
Remember the controversy about Carter’s Playboy interview? Here’s a quote for those of you who do not:
“Christ said, ‘I tell you that anyone who looks on a woman with lust has in his heart already committed adultery.’ I’ve looked on a lot of women with lust. I’ve committed adultery in my heart many times. This is something that God recognizes I will do — and I have done it — and God forgives me for it. But that doesn’t mean that I condemn someone who not only looks on a woman with lust but who leaves his wife and shacks up with somebody out of wedlock. Christ says, Don’t consider yourself better than someone else because one guy screws a whole bunch of women while the other guy is loyal to his wife.”
— Jimmy Carter, November 1976
Carter said the word, “screw” — oh, my!
