Former RNC Chairman Calls NRCC Ad “Racist”

Michael Steele

Former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele is criticizing a political advertisement that the National Republican Congressional Committee is running in support of Republican Congressman Lee Terry of Nebraska.

Appearing on The Round Up with Steve Kornacki, Mr. Steele said the following about the ad:

You say to yourself, what is the point of this ad? I mean, in the context of the case or the situation, yeah, okay, the member of the house supported the law. But then to put it in this frame, says something very racist in my view.
