Andrew Breitbart Dead At 43

There’s not really much to say about this news, other than it comes as a great shock. Breitbart was a revolutionary when it came to the new media and taking on the left. He will be greatly missed.

Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Naturally the left show their true colors with hateful and ugly remarks about the passing of Andrew Breitbart.

I’ll update this post later as more information becomes available.

UPDATE: Politics is politics, but it’s a damn shame that some on the left would react to a family losing their husband, father and son in this way. It’s a damn shame. WTH has a nice write up about Breitbart having known and worked with him at the Big sites.

UPDATE II: As Stacy McCain eloquently puts it, “There is never a good time for bad things to happen,” yet they always do.

UPDATE III:  The LA Times reports that the LA County coroner will perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office will review the death of conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, who collapsed and died Thursday while taking a nighttime walk near his Westwood home.

Given his young age — he was 43 — and the unexpected manner in which he died, authorities will conduct an autopsy to help determine a specific cause of death.

Breitbart’s father-in-law, actor Orson Bean, said in an interview with The Times that Breitbart was found collapsed near his home about 12:30 a.m. Paramedics took him to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, but doctors were unable to revive him.
