Good News Saturday

If you are feeling like I am this morning, you are looking for some positive news. Here are a couple of items for you. I’m not claiming the following settles anything on Obamacare, but from Robert Costa over at the Corner:

Two pro-life GOP members close to Stupak tell NRO that any Stupak deals are off. They just spoke with him and they said he’s finished with Pelosi. They rejected his enrollment corrections proposal.

On a different front, Rasmussen released its daily presidential tracking poll for this morning.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 23% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21. That matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President (see trends).

Instapundit notes that while 44% strongly disapprove, only 43% approve of Obama at all. He asks:

Will the press start talking about “the increasingly unpopular President Obama” any time soon?

I wouldn’t hold your breath, Glenn.
