Weekend Caption Contest™ Winners

This week’s Weekend Caption Contest™ was another smash hit. The assignment this week was to caption the following picture:

Former New York City Mayor David Dinkins, left, and NAACP official Hazel Dukes, right, sit next to Rev. Al Sharpton, center, as he address the media after meeting with the local political base to discuss the future political life of New York State Governor David Patterson Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the Harlem neighborhood of New York. State and local politicians, and community leaders who attended the meeting stand behind Sharpton. (AP Photo/Stephen Chernin)

Here are the winning entries:

1) (JPO) – “He couldn’t quite put his finger on the reason, but Agent Stache was pretty sure he was not the right man for this undercover assignment.

2) (howcome) – “Introducing the CBC candy bar. A whole lot of chocolate, a healthy portion of nuts and a touch of creamy nugent in the center.

3) (infidel) – Photographer….”OK, we’re gonna line up in rows, starting with those who’ve outlived their usefulness first.

4) (Jay Wills) – “The Sharpton family photo accidentally revealed their woodpile problem.

5) (Scotty) – “Joseph Stalin IV trys to blend in with his new comrades.

6) (IowaRight) – “I was born a poor black child…

The Readers Choice Award this week went to JPO’s winning entry. In its place I offer this musical number:

(Eric) – “They’re creepy and they’re kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They’re all together ooky,
The Reparations Family.

They’re creepy and they’re crawly
Just like Tawana Brawley
and they really like to scream
The Reparations Family.

(Neat)
(Sweet)
(Petite)

So put away that frown
You’re about to be shook down
You’re gonna be called on by
The Reparations Family”

That’s if for this weekend. A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.
