Blackout

My internet connection (and my cable TV) is seriously borked, and the guy won’t be here until late this afternoon. So blogging is going to be limited, to say the least.

In the meantime, though, here are a couple of great reads. Dafydd ab Hugh, once again, writes the kind of piece I want to write, but better. It’s a response to the “9/11 wasn’t so bad” tripe the Washington Post published the other day.

And on the non-political side, Jeff Harrell (former guest Wizbanger) has a truly fascinating study of the internet, and how it literally is unlike anything ever seen before in human history.

Sooner or later, things HAVE to stop going wonko on me…
