I was only 6 at the time, but I have stayed with them through thick and thin. That being said, I don’t begrudge the Tigers any of the success they are enjoying now. Whoever wins the ALCS (don’t count the A’s out) will be my team in the World Series. While I don’t pretend to think any highly paid baseball player should be considered the “little guy”, it’s good to see teams that don’t allow themselves to be blackmailed into paying players exorbitantly do well.
