It’s a faux pas to post these funny pictures without adding John Kerry in the NASA bunny suit/Wonka Candyvision jumpsuit. It’s just too funny. Here it is.

Steve as a long time photog, sometimes ya just get a shot like that. It almost always involes a picture where the neck is not visible. — That lends itself to looking manipulated.
I saw what you see but I really doubt the AP ran a photoshopped photo.. But if they did do it, I know what the blogosphere will be talking about tomorrow.

It’s not photoshopped. I’ve seen other versions of it.

Paul, you are probably right. It was just that the helmet is at an odd angle with the head and no shadows on the clothes. Speaking of tossing cookies, that guy next to Tony looks like he is going to blow chow.
MitchellJune 14, 2006
He looks like a dork. But, he’s our dork, and I love him, man.

Hey guys, photoshop or not, Tony was in a real live war zone with live bullets and everything. Goofy looking or not, they are supposed to wear helmets and stuff. Dukakis on the other hand was …. well, you know.
One looks like a dork and the other looks like a guy that overcame prostate cancer and is having the time of his life.

The other guy is Dan Bartlett. They were giving him a hard time about this pic on Fox & Friends this morning. I saw another one yesterday where Tony looked really great!

>Is it me, or did someone forget to close the center tag somewhere on the front page?
nah- it was a img tag that IE had a problem with. I use Firefox and it rendered fine.
In any case, these guys were in Iraq. Armor and helmets required.
Dukakis was at a General Dynamics plant in Detroit (I think) for a photo op.
Actually, being in Detroit, Dukakis should have been wearing body armor, too…

I thought that Dukakis got a raw deal on this particular photo-op. I have seen pictures of real soldiers in their gear look prettty goofy. On the other hand Kerry, if he was smart should have realized that he would look extra goofy as the blue energizer bunny.

Conan O’Brien did a bit last night where they cast the upcoming movie about Valerie Plame. Who did they cast as Tony Snow?
Herman Munster.
* You had to see the two pictures: it was pretty funny *

“Naw, Tony looks OK but the guy next to him is a dead ringer for Artie Johnson.”

Looks photohshopped to me.
Looks as if his helmet is floating about three inches off the top of his head.

I thought the other guy might be Hugh Hewitt!

Does anyone else think Tony Snow was photoshopped into this photo?
I hope it is a photoshopped pic, because Dukakis looks more legit, since at least his helmet fit.
Na – he needs bushier eyebrows to be the Duke’s lovechild.
I saw another version of that photo that showed Tony without the big chow-eating grin that looked like he was about to toss his cookies.:)

It is a funny pic though!
It should tell people something when they look Photoshopped even when they weren’t.
Like Jim Traficant and his hair.
When did Michael Dukakis join the Army?

Since fixed for you IE users.
Snow DOES look just plain photoshopped.
