Last weeks Weekend Caption Contest™ languished without a winner, a situation that was entirely my fault. With Condi’s fashion sense in the news today it’s a perfect opportunity to finally publish the winning entries for this picture:

I really like those boots from the other day. Hopefully Condi will run for Pres in that outfit. Not dominatrix in the least, just elegant and powerful style – the velvet hammer.

Im sorry, but I must protest the outcome of this week’s Caption Contest. This Ted Kennedy joke is a long standing classic. It can be told in almost any situation and still remain moderately funny. For proof of this status, look into past weeks contests, this joke is applicable to just about every one of them and everyone should give a chuckle. To say that it deserves a #2 ranking over the “white on rice” joke is a bit… dishonest…
Perhaps dishonest is a bit harsh, but this outcome gives me a sick feeling. A feeling like that poor dinner roll must must have had when it realized it was stuck in that puffy, greasy, fat head.
Is it the 26th already?
Why not change the name to “week-long caption contest?”
