Throughout most of the day, I’ve been having an ongoing argument with a “John.” It got a bit heated, but I’m used to that.
Then, tonight, I suddenly found myself getting subscription notice after subscription notice in my inbox. Luckily, most of them were responsible ones, and required me to confirm them.
Even more luckily, several of them mentioned the I.P. of the requester. 203.217.80.92, which also happens to be the I.P. that “John’s” comments are coming from.
I will be discussing this matter at length with iiNet, John. I hope you’re not too attached to that connection of yours…

Obviously, “John” is a petulant child.
J,
I followed the “debate” in your comments section with John. I was waiting for him to post some evidence to back up his claims, but none came. Sorry to hear about his antics, but it does not surprise me. He sounded like he had Moore-on Disease. Pity the fool.
Personally, I doubt he/she is a nurse leaving for Thailand next week; sounded more like a college kid to me.
Right wingers are the usual rats. Can’t take the heat, have to run to the authorities. Bitch.
Ahhh, You own personal C.H.U.D.
Sorry I missed that thread, Jay.
BTW: Did you get what you wanted for Christmas?
Right wingers are the usual rats. Can’t take the heat, have to run to the authorities. Bitch.
Oh, so it’s OK for some maroon to sign Jay up for every “subscription” service under the sun, now, is it? That’s what (I believe) he’s talking with iiNet about. Which is, most likely, a violation of the ISP’s terms of service.
Think of it this way: would you support a budding SPAMmer? I think not.
I was under the impression most knew how subscriptions work. You signup, then get an email asking you to confirm. Too funny really that he didn’t know. 🙂

Fucktard.
Jay–thanks for putting up the IP too. Another moonbat to add to my ban list.
Good going Jay!
Moonbats keep falling on my head….
I think Bob up there keeps forgetting about how many of us on the right do not advocate signing up folks for subscriptions when we don’t know them…. because it’s easier to discuss rational ideas rather than harassing people you don’t agree with. Have another bong hit, Bob.
To paraphrase a line from Moonstruck:
Someday, you’re gonna die. And I’ll wear my bright red pimp suit to your funeral.

Left wingers are the usual bass-ackwards morons; doing evil to another person is ok, but fighting back, and in a legal and above-board way, is somehow NOT ok. :-O
Jay, you’re the MAN!! 🙂
Note to Beth:
May I also suggest Bob join the ever growing enrollment in VHEMT whose motto includes these choice words:
“May we live long and die out”
“Phasing out the human race by voluntarily ceasing to breed will allow Earth’s biosphere to return to good health. Crowded conditions and resource shortages will improve as we become less dense.”
Jay Tea… go ahead send John a gift enrollment also.
BurbankErnie: Definitely not an RN. One just doesn’t volunteer to go do relief work.
Some people just have no concept of losing with poise and grace… Sorry to hear he stooped to such pathetically low, immature levels.
But, Jay, did you reference the word, “square” or display any square objects in anything you wrote? Or thought, perhaps? Or use OLD ENGLISH fonts? Just asking…ha.
No, Suzy, I didn’t. But close examination of the subscription requests show both suspicious-looking superscripts and indications they were faxed from a Kinko’s in Texas…
J.
Ha, Jay.
I missed whatever happened (issue of this thread) due to yesterday’s marathon “on-actual-line” (as in telephone) session with DELL Technical Support, lasting nearly six hours.
But, out of all that effort has resulted: a new motherboard, a new processor and new/replacement memory. And that’s after my new harddrive that was installed last week.
So, DELL wins my heart and receives my pledge to purchase another system next year, one of their XPS systems.
You know — however, about those surprise signups and reason why — I did notice a huge increase in Spam on a certain email address, from last month on. Now nearly everything in the Inbox goes straight to Trash. Sad commentary on the foolishness of some.
Poor Bob. So bereft of any ability to reason. Let us all have a moment of silence to mourn his inability to be human.
