On the eve of the Dem convention, Drudge is running the fact that the Pentagon found Bush’s National Guard payroll records from the time when he was in Alabama. UPDATE: AP has it now.
Assuming the information is exculpatory, I officially question the timing.
As an aside- How many times do you think the Dem speakers have had to rewrite their speeches this week?
UPDATE 2: It was apparently inconclusive.
DNC: *Discovery* of Bush Records Late Friday Afternoon Questionable
Washington DC – According to CNN, some of President Bush’s missing records from his time in the Air National Guard were found today. The payroll records that were discovered were initially reported destroyed. In response, Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Terry McAuliffe issued the following statement:
“The supposed discovery of these records on Friday afternoon, as reporters converge on Boston to cover the Democratic National Convention, is highly questionable. If the Bush Administration continues to search, maybe they’ll find answers to the long list of unanswered questions that remain about George W. Bush’s time in the Air National Guard. Bush’s military records seem to show up as randomly as he did for duty.”
Terry McGoofball does not realize he has become a paint by numbers caricature of himself. Look for the usual idiots to echo his comments.
What the hell does “The Associated Press was evaluating the documents” mean? Put them through the pdf machine and put them on the web, then look at them.
No no no- They have to prepare the spin first.
It takes time to gather 3 nasty quotes from democrats.
Haha! You just can’t make this stuff up.
Do you suppose, for one minute, that Terry McAuliffe gives a damn if he’s a characature of himself? That’s what he gets paid to do, so he’ll do it.
Hey Terry? What’s highly questionable is why Kerry hasn’t publicly called for your head on a platter after learning that everyone from Camp Clinton–but not the party’s friggin’ candidate–knew Bergler was under investigation.
