Thanks to the good folks at BlogRunner, two RSS and/or Atom holdouts on my reading list are now available via RSS feed: Andrew Sullivan and Meryl Yourish.
Visit the BlogRunner Andrew Sullivan Profile Page where you can find his RSS feed, or drag this
to your reader.
Visit the BlogRunner Meryl Yourish Profile Page where you can find her RSS feed, or drag this to your reader.
BlogRunner also provides the RSS capabilities at the Volokh Conspiracy, as well as the frequently mentioned, Top Author List.
If you’re looking for a good, free newsreader that supports RSS and Atom try SharpReader.
If you’re looking for a free browser based newsreader try Bloglines.
Isn’t Meryl about to do a full revamp anyway?
FYI: Your direct links to the RSS are busted.
Meryl is moving, but this will help out in the mean time.
Thanks Joe, the link is updated now.
You might also like to try Sauce Reader, a free RSS / Atom reader for windows that has integrated weblog posting and a Office 2003 look & feel.
cheers, Nathan
Don’t use SharpReader if you’re running WinME. Downloading the .NET framework just sucks the resources out of your machine.
For the techno-phobes: Try Bloglines, the web-based RSS Feed reader. That will give you a real sense of RSS (whose value and ease I find hard to describe).
Downloading your own RSS Feed reader is also a great idea, but is one step more technical.
