Places To Go And People To See

I’m actually sitting down and working on my Dead Pool 2004 picks. This is shitloads harder than say a fantasy football draft because the pool of candidates to be handicapped is so much larger. I’ll leave you with a list of things to do and places to visit.

Things You Could Be Doing In The Mean Time

  • Trying to win the Weekend Caption Contest™

  • Hitting my tip jar or Amazon list. Normally this site is “pledge week free” 24/7/365, but since my former employer decided to make this a “paycheck free” holiday I’ve temporarily suspended that policy. I get as hundreds of e-mails a day, use loads of bandwidth, and spend a lot of time writing too. Plus I help other bloggers out. I don’t have pledge drives and never request money for help. If you want to support a professional journalist and talk show guest Andrew Sullivan is your guy, if you want to help out a newly unemployed blogger with dwindling funds and a third child on the way I’m your guy. ***Visiting Other Blog Awards

    • Wizbang friends Dwight and Mary Beth are hosting the second annual Koufax Awards at Wampum. The awards honor the best liberal blogs and are named after one of the greatest left handed pitchers of all time, Sandy Koufax.

  • Phil at Flying Chair was so inspired by my efforts that he created the Asia Weblog Awards 2003. He’s doing great work, and we are definitely going to compare notes when all is said and done. Head over and get involved.

  • If you read German blogs the Blogawards 2003 are open for voting.Pure Entertainment

*** Serious thanks to those who have already been so generous.
