Wow.
I just finished the last of a three-part series of essays, using a medical metaphor for the War on Terror. I believe I topped out at over 3,500 words, and I think I might have sprained my rhetoric muscles. It took about two hours to type it all, a day or so of active thinking and plotting, and several years of reading and observing and collecting information to put it all together, but damn it, I think it’s worth it.
Of course, you folks will be the ones to judge the results.
The first part will go up at 8:00 a.m. Eastern, with the second and third parts at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. respectively.
And I will be looking for some virtual liniment the rest of the day…
Update: Unless, of course, I forget to reset the publishing time for the first part from 5:00 a.m. to 8.00 a.m…. sigh.
