He did more than just express remorse that Dick Cheney wasn’t killed in the suicide bombing while he was in Afghanistan, he outright explained why it would be best if Dick Cheney were assassinated. NewsBusters has the transcript:

Forget Dick Cheney being replaced as Vice President, Bill Maher is convinced that it’s better if Dick Cheney isn’t even alive on this planet because more people will live as a result. And he insists that’s a fact.
