Just winding up the Ghosting of my primary hard drive, about to re-partition and re-format it before putting all the data back… with luck, that’ll clear up most of my disk issues. I think I’m going to shuffle data and re-format all my hard drives, just to tidy things up a bit. Wish me luck…

If your computer is having trouble because of stale software or bit bloat, ghosting the drive, reformatting and restoring the image will only restore your old problems. If you can pick and choose the data from inside that image, better to do a fresh install of the OS and only install apps you need, along with the data from your image.
I purchased a new hard drive for my laptop because I thought my old drive was dying, but what I really need is to copy all my data to another computer, reformat/reinstall the vendor image (Dell), uninstall the crapware that came with the laptop then reinstall apps as I need them. It takes Firefox 10-15 seconds to open now, so my reimage/restore is inevitable…I’m just dreading it.
“dark issues”, good.
Good luck, Jay. Don’t hesitate to fire off a note, if you need any help.

Good luck! I don’t envy you one bit.
