Announcing HurricAid.com

hcaid_400.jpg

As a followup to Paul’s earlier post about what bloggers can do to help out the Gulf Coast victims of the Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans flooding, we’ve setup HurricAid.com. It’s a group authored blog where we’ll address raising money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and (more importantly) address where those affected can turn for help, and how to go about getting help once you know where to turn.

HurricAid will only succeed if there’s enough interest from those who want to contribute posts. If you’d like to contribute as an author please send a note to hurricaid@wizbangblog.com – we’ll be adding accounts as quickly as possible.

If you’d like to do a Movable Type design for the site (gratis), have a look at the new standard template formats in Movable Type 3.2, and if you think you can work within that framework drop me a note…

If you’ve got suggestions, use the suggestion/feedback post.

Remember, Wizbang blogger Paul can use your direct PayPal donations. See our post on our relief efforts to benefit Paul’s family and others in need here.

Update: TTLB is keeping track of contributions as part of the Blog for Relief Day. If you donated to Paul, there’s an option to record that contribution.
