It is now being reported that Bill Clinton is out of surgery following a successful quadruple bypass. Reports are that the former president is doing well, and could be released from the hospital in four to five days.
There is apparently no truth to the rumor that the surgical team had replaced their traditional green scrubs with blue dresses, which have a historically-proven preservative effect on Clinton DNA.
Cards, flowers, Happy Meals, and cheap floozies may be sent to Mr. Clinton at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

ZING! Good one – you might say it was “spot”-on target.
While the operating team said it was successful and fairly routine, there were some tense moments when the Republican surgeons started boo-ing.
Tony, you forgot to give credit where credit is due:
“NEW YORK (AP) — “While the operating team said it was successful and fairly routine, there were some tense moments when the Republican surgeons started boo-ing.”
I’m sending McDonald’s fries coupons as a get well gift.
How about cigars? Can we send cigars to Slick Willie? He can tell the nurses, “Sweetie, I’ll show you what a cigar is really for.”
Ouch. Can’t stop the AP, can you?
Good work, guys.
Someone commented on my site that they had heard a doctor say that Clinton was “arousable.” You can’t make this stuff up.
The local fast food restaurants are building bypasses around the counters to the salad bars.
Tacky, but I guess since he survived, it can be expected.
I heard it! I heard it! The doctor told the press that Clinton is a bit groggy but he’s arousable. Sean Hannity played the soundbite today.
