Newsday is reporting that David Chase has agreed to a sixth season of the Sopranos. It will be a 10 episode season (shorter than normal) that will get the series to 75 episodes – enough to complete a lucrative syndication deal. I’ve heard that Drea De Matteo (Adriana) was not invited to the season six cast meeting. Perhaps this is a ruse, or it may be an indication that she gets “wacked” this fall in season 5. Stay tuned…
