I have been reading and hearing all over the place about how much everyone hates President Bush. There’s no doubt that the haters are loud and rather hot-tempered on that question. Yet I also continue to run into people who still think he’s done a good job, all things considered, and quite a few who believe – as I do – that a few years from now we will wish he was still in the Oval Office.
So here are a set of questions, simple questions which deserve clear, simple answers. Try to respect other opinions, and please keep in mind that this is just a sampling of our site and readers, not anything that is going to be worth shouting about; it’s useful as a local barometer, is all.
1. Yes or no, do you think President Bush has done a good job overall as President?
2. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being complete failure and 10 being a great President, how would you grade President Bush?
3. Yes or no, do you approve of President Bush personally?
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being an absolute disgrace and 10 being extremely honorable and personable, how would you grade George W. Bush, the man?
5. Yes or no, do you believe the next President will do as good a job as President Bush has done (for this question, you may note whom you expect to win in November) ?
6. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a complete failure and 10 being a great President, how well do you expect the next President to do (for this question, you may note whom you expect to win in November)?
7. In general, do you think this site is more conservative, more liberal, or generally reflects the American public opinion?
