The now verified files showing a Presidential Candidate and his son selling access to foreign firms (Burisma, in the Ukraine) and less than friendly foreign powers (PRC) should be front page above the fold stories in every newspaper, featured on every news broadcast, and the most prolific issue on social media and political web sites. It’s not, and that tells a very sad tale about those institutions.
Even the Wall Street Journal has only referred to the criminal conduct in their online “Best of the Web Today” feature. USA Today, which normally publishes a column by Glenn “Instapundit” Reynolds declined to print his submission this week
