Police Body Cam Saves the Day

Here we have an instance of a citizen taking a video on his cell phone of a traffic stop gone bad. This happened in Lenexa, Kansas. The individual was pulled over by police for not wearing a seat belt and things went sideways.

Here’s the video that went viral.

The man who shot the video posted it on his Facebook page with the following commentary.

LENEXA, KS (KCTV) – A man shared on Facebook part of a video of an arrest in Lenexa and posted scathing comments on Facebook, …
But John C. Sherman wrote on Facebook that he was in the parking lot of a restaurant at 95th Street and Quivira Road when officers pulled “the kids” over for no apparent reason.
“I see a cop pulling kids over for bein’ black,” Sherman wrote. “After calling a few of his piggie friends, they tell the driver to get out.”
He detailed how he thought the officers manhandled Harrison and said he posed “no threat whatsoever.”
He said officers “pummeled and choked this poor kid” until “blood was pouring from his mouth and he was crying.”

It turns out, sure enough, there’s more to the story.

So the guy who got taken down and arrested had multiple warrants out for his arrest, assaulted a police officer and tried to escape. And Mr. Sherman wants to make a victim of him.

There certainly was an overt display of racism here. Only it’s John Serman who is the racist.

John, you’ve got a career hanging out with Al Sharpton. Other than that, not so much.
