Black Lives Matter is the Democratic Party of today. They haven’t had a lot of national press – after you watch the video you’ll understand why – but they are at the center of the Democratic Party.
The BLM organizers recently attended the Netroots Nation conference in Phoenix and blew it up. The video you’re about to see took place there.
For background, Netroots is a far left “Social Justice” organization made up of people from the online community. Here’s what they say about themselves.
The big picture: We amplify progressive voices by providing an online and in-person campus for exchanging ideas and learning how to be more effective in using technology to influence the public debate.
Every year at their convention they attract the most prominent names in the Democratic Party and this year they welcomed the candidates in the Democratic Primary – minus Hillary – and it was a showcase of what’s coming over the nest 18 months.
In Phoenix Martin O’Malley and Bernie Sanders spoke to the convention. Both were shouted down because they’re not far enough left for the Netroots. O’Malley really got things rolling when he said “All Lives Matter.” That’s when all hell broke loose.

This wasn’t a few fringe loud mouths, it was orchestrated by Patrisee Cullors, the founder of the “movement.” She’s pumping her fist shouting along with every threat. She’s told a British interviewer, “We’re going into halls of power now. Many of us are meeting with mayors or meeting with local government. Some of us have met with President Obama himself to talk about the demands.”
Demands. Life on the left is all about demands.
That’s the White House Visitors log.
Last week, Breitbart News exposed that convicted cop killer Assata Shakur [Joanne Chesmard] is one of the heroes of the Black Lives Matter founders. Black Lives Matter pays homage to Cuban exile Shakur and quotes the Communist Manifesto at every single Black Lives Matter event.
These are the people who are being welcomed in the White House. The same White House that is getting ready to charge the Navy officer for shooting back at the Muslim terrorist who murdered four Marines and a sailor in Chattanooga.
Cullors appeared on MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry and was asked about Republicans.
Cullors replied, “Trust and believe that any opportunity we have to shut down a Republican convention, we will. We will make sure that our voices are made loud and clear.”
We can only hope. Give them a platform, let them call for revolution, let the Democrats defend them. In prime time.
