CNN isn’t the place you’d expect to find people defending guns and the 2nd Amendment. But sure enough, that’s what’s happening because reality interfered with CNN’s Progressive narrative.
de Caro is a former Special Forces soldier, he obviously remembered his training. He was shot three times and still managed to fatally wound their attacker. de Caro recovered from his wounds and the couple completed their trip to California.
de Caro and his wife are obviously strong supporters of gun control. It takes excellent control of your weapon to place a fatal shot when involved in close quarters combat and you’re wounded. Great control Chuck!

Get a gun, get legal, be responsible, trust yourself. Don’t trust yourself? Then don’t carry. But for God’s sake then, shut the f**k up about it, because that’s where your involvement ends.
Chuck and I were married one year ago, on the Fourth of July. Sure, we celebrated our first wedding anniversary in a hospital. But thanks to the Second Amendment, my crack-shot husband and the pistol he used, we were able to have a first anniversary.
