We understand that being President is a very difficult job and we understand President Obama has to set priorities. He’s only one man and he can’t be all things to all people.
So let’s look at what his priorities seem to be.
There was that fracas in Benghazi.
The United States Ambassador to Libya, the personal representative of President Barack Obama, had been tortured, sodomized, dragged bloody through the streets of Benghazi, and murdered. Chris Stevens, along with the two [former Navy SEALS] and another who were murdered along with him, had volunteered to serve his country. But under the leadership of Barack Obama, that is how his service ended.
By the evening of that next day, Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama was jetting off to a campaign fundraiser in Las Vegas, followed by parties with Jay-Z and Beyonce.
Then there was ISIS beheading 21 Christians on a beach.
When you’ve got a tee time, you just don’t want to give it up. Especially when the Secret Service has taken the trouble to get all those other pesky golfers off the course for you.
And then there’s the latest event in the news. That would be the murder of four US Marines and one Navy man in Chattanooga by a lone wolf gunman who, coincidentally I’m sure, happened to be Muslim who faithfully attended mosque.
Off to New York City for an evening of a Broadway play and a fundraiser. Oh, and spending some quality time with his daughters being a good dad. We certainly hope the first kiddies had a great time with dad attending a hip-hop musical, Hamilton, after all, they’re the hottest tickets in the Big Apple.
We also hope that the weekend wasn’t dampened by the thought that the dads among those four Marines who were butchered in Chattanooga by a lone wolf gunman Muslim terrorist won’t ever be able to spend any time, quality or not, with their kids again.
We’re confident that thought never crossed President Obama’s mind. After all, he has his priorities.
