Kitty Werthmann lived in Austria when Hitler marched his troops in and took over. She sees parallels between growing up in Austria and living in America for the last seven years.

Hitler came to power in the depth of the depression, Obama came to power, in part, as the result of a deep recession. In addition,
Hitler socialized health care, he went one step further than Obama, it was free for everyone in Germany.
Hitler managed to confiscate virtually every gun in Germany, Obama would if he could.
Taxes in Germany were dramatically increased, on the rich, of course.
Business regulations were increased to the point where small businesses were forced to shut down because of the cost of compliance.
Food stamps and nearly free university education became one of the hallmarks of Hitler’s regime.
School curriculum was directed by the government. Common Core anyone?
We’re not accusing Obama of being a Nazi. We are pointing out that the Nazism and Obama’s (and the Democratic Party’s) political roots come from the same tree, socialism. Like today’s Democrats, Hitler was a far left politician, not a “conservative” like progressives try to paint him.
