Tony Woodlief writes so powerfully and poignantly.
Don’t miss his latest piece, something written 12 years after his daughter’s death. Just don’t.
Full back story here. It is agonizing to read, so painful.
I’m told that Catholicism teaches much about the redemptive power of suffering and perhaps one day I’ll understand and buy into the concept but at this point, and especially each time I read Tony’s writing about his beautiful daughter Caroline, all I can do is think about how there’s no human way I could’ve gone through what Tony and his wife have gone through and remain sane or faithful.
Just no way.
God bless them both… and their boys. And God, especially bless, keep, hold and rest little Caroline.
