It’s election season! Time to exploit children for political gain!
Today’s entry: This video from Rebuild the Dream, the new organization of former Obama green jobs czar and 9/11 truther Van Jones, in which cute kids mouth bizarrely sophisticated talking points, including words and phrases they almost certainly don’t understand, such as “infrastructure,” “living wage,” and “tax brackets.”

Apparently MoveOn.org has a piece of this action, too. It’s kind of a creepy sequel to the many videos from ’08 featuring kids singing praises to Obama – something the folks at Reason also noted.

We’re dealing with some radical folks here… radicals attempting to hide their extremism behind the smiles of unsuspecting and exploited children.
Sick stuff.
Made sicker when, as Michelle Malkin documents, you understand who it is that Van Jones is teaming with to further his agenda… not just MoveOn.Org as Greyhawk notes, but the Union thugs at SEIU and the AFL-CIO.
Jones’ use of children and his choice of thugs as partners in the carrying out of his ideas seems fitting.
Unions aren’t strangers to exploiting children as my colleague JayTea notes:
I was reminded of that when I saw this video footage from a Verizon picket line. One particularly exemplary union member brought his daughter to the picket (I’m lousy at guessing kid’s ages, but I’d peg her as about 10 to 12). When a truck driven by replacement workers attempted to drive into the facility, this hero vilely cursed out the drivers while having his daughter stand in front of the truck to keep it from getting into the plant.
Here’s where we see just a smidgen of cognitive dissonance going on here. The potty-mouthed striker is calling the workers every vile name he can think of, impugning every aspect of their character, declaring that they are the lowest of the low, utterly without conscience or consideration for others, especially his daughter… while trusting in their basic decency to not just run her over and proceed in to work.
That right there is the face of today’s unions, folks. And no wonder they get along so well with the left — this kind of thuggery is their stock in trade…
Leftists today will go to any length to advance the cause to include thuggery and the exploitation of children.
Sick stuff indeed.
