Governor Mark Sanford, in an astonishing press conference, has admitted to an affair with a women he met in Argentina.
He is resigning as Chairman of the Republican Governor’s Association.
Expect the usual leftist hacks to use this to broad-brush all Republicans as immoral hacks.
There is little defense for this, especially when one is in such a public position of scrutiny.
However, let’s not forget Democratic characters such as New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey, New York Governor Elliot Spitzer, and President Bill Clinton when demonizing those on the right.
