PETA's Criticism of Obama for Killing a Fly is Ridiculous

During an interview the other day, President Obama was annoyed by a fly buzzing about his head so he did what many of us would have done. He killed it. But get this. PETA issued a comment saying the president should have shown compassion. Unbelievable. These folks have way too much time on their hands.

In a nutshell, our position is this: He isn’t the Buddha, he’s a human being, and human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act.

If all this has you wondering how you can be a bigger person (figuratively, as well as literally) in your dealings with exoskeletal beings, check out our handy-dandy bug catcher–one of which we are sending to President Obama for future insect incidents.

With Obama taking over the American auto industry, attempting to socialize health care, nationalizing the banks, and turning America’s war on terror into a criminal justice endeavor, PETA places its priority on a house fly.
