This week’s Weekend Caption Contest™ was a spectacular hit. There were so many excellent captions it’s a shame I can only honor seven of them. The assignment this week was to caption the following picture:
Here are the winning entries:
1) (retired military) – “Reporters lied
Newspapers died“
2) (vader06) – “I feel so betrayed. I thought I would never have to work again, my taxes would go down and Obama was going to pay my mortgage…“
3) (fustian) – “Now who will provide the leftist propaganda to Coloradoans hungry for guidance in these times of trouble?“
4) (J-Ho) – “And Helen Thomas still has a job???“
5) (jim2) – ““How can this be?” she sobbed. “Our narrative was correct!“
6) (Pretzel Logic) – Guy in glasses: “I need to get her in the supply room one last time.“
The Readers Choice Award this week went to retired military’s winning entry. In it’s place I offer another excellent caption:
(DJ Drummond) – “Rocky Mountain News employees listen to Obama’s plan to save newspapers … by taxing the hell out of employers, building fifty more Planned Parenthood offices in Colorado, and creating the Office of Print Regulation.”
A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.
