Yesterday, Cassy posted a video of the United States Army Chorus performing for the Pope. It put me in mind of another video I saw a while ago:
It’s the answer to the never-asked question “what happens when you combine a Finnish rock band, the former Red Army Choir, and a southern rock classic?”
There’s an old joke that “military music,” like “military justice” and “military intelligence,” are oxymorons. That’s not really fair, but they certainly are distinct from their non-military meanings.
No, I don’t get the hair. No, I don’t quite know why I like it.
But I do. It appeals to me in some bizarre way I can’t explain.
