Fox News Poll

Fox News has just released a new Opinion Dynamics poll that indicates Rudy Giuliani remains in the lead for the Republican nomination with possibly just fourth months until voting begins. Giuliani wins the support of 30% of Republicans, up from 27% in late July. Support for Fred Thompson has edged down from 17% to 15% today. Mitt Romney is registering a slight increase, probably due to his Ames victory. He wins 12%, up from 10% in the previous poll. John McCain has seen the bottom fall out of his campaign, now registering a mere 7%. For all the expectations regarding potential electoral dividends from his second-place finish in Ames, Mike Huckabee remains stuck at 3%.
