Homicides Jump 20% This Year, increase blamed on drugs, street violence

Drug-related slayings and spontaneous street violence accounted for a 20 percent jump in homicides so far this year, authorities said late Tuesday.

‘We have a lot more spontaneous violence, we have had a lot more knife violence and we have had an increase in family and drug violence,’ said Lt. John Murphy, head of the police homicide detail.

Pretty grim, huh?

Unfortunately that’s the grim reality over in the liberal paradise of San Francisco, California.

Which begs the following question:

Why are there always so many problems — crime, poverty, blight, dysfunctional public schools, etc. — in big liberal cities that vote overwhelmingly for Democrats?

Oh, right, my bad.

Misery loves company.
