I had a truly surreal experience last night.
At 11:00 p.m. on Friday, in a Wal-Mart Super Center, I ran into (not literally) four high school girls in the dairy section. They were poking through the cheese and butter section.
In full prom dresses.
I had no idea the place had so strict a dress code…
IIRC, eggs have been used in the past by graduating high school seniors in a less-than-wholesome manner against, say, a chaperone of said prom, or a disliked teacher from high school.
On the other hand, spray-on whipped cream could be a part of the after-prom “activities”.
Being a frequent shopper at the local Wal-Mart Super Center, both items are found near cheese and butter.
Lordy, now the pre-prom parental admonitions are going to have to include, “And no shopping at Wal-Mart after the dance!”
Is it possible that to be ‘grown ups’ they were picking out cheese to have wine & cheese? I so like that better than even toying with what they might have done with butter.
