This week’s MilBlog is Chairborne Stranger, a soldier currently on a one-year tour of duty in Iraq. Chair doesn’t talk about himself much, but if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be in a vehicle when an IED blows up nearby, here’s one chilling description. Or, for that matter, when it blows up near someone else. And sometimes, convoys go without running into IEDs at all, but it’s still stressful.
Head on over to Chairside’s site and give him a few kind words.
I am always accepting nominations for MilBlog Of The Week. Just e-mail them to jaytea (at) wizbangblog.com, or TempoMan49 (at) yahoo.com.
