Yesterday, I discussed how every time a new form of energy is being explored, some liberal group or groups will show up to oppose it.
And, as if on cue, we have this story of noted environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. showing up to fight the proposed windmill farm in the ocean off Cape Cod.
There’s signs of hope, though. Kennedy is being chided by Greenpeace, of all people, who back the windmills.
I’ve never been fond of Greenpeace, but every now and then I find them in conflict with someone I dislike even more. I think the last time was when the French government blew up their ship, killing a photographer.
Hey, Bobby, y’wanna run that by me again, how you’re protecting the Sound while camped out at Grandpa Joe’s Hyannisport docks, and your opposition, it has nothing to do with the ocean views from the family compound…does that sum up your play here today?
That’s funnier than UncleTeddy’s Op-Ed in todays WaPo.
Putz.
It’s hard not to feel sympathy for Greenpeace, one of the two groups in the world the French aren’t afraid to attack. If it wasn’t for them and teenage Muslim girls France would have surrendered to everyone in the world by now.
Seems like I read somewhere that the windmills were ripping birds apart who flew in them and that was making PETA mad.
What’s moonbat to do?????
😉
By an historic accident of fate, I find myself standing with Greenpeace on an issue. Gawd it feels uncomfortable.
My three favorite bumper stickers of all time are:
Chappaquiddick 1 – Three Mile Island 0
Drive 75, Make a Yankee Freeze in the Dark
You’ll have to pry my bullets
out of you cold, dead, liberal ass.

That time I was rooting for the French.
