A while ago, Kevin poached on my territory and wrote about a Bow, NH star athlete and high school student who was going to fail to graduate because of a missing Physical Education student.
This morning’s Union Leader has the final word on her story. Isabel Gottlieb’s old school went back and “tweaked” her transcript, to better comply with New Hampshire standards, and she will graduate with her class after all.
The lesson to be learned: when you change systems, in school or anything, triple-check EVERYTHING to see what does and does not carry over.
Good luck to Isabel. With this lesson behind her, I suspect she’s got a great future ahead of her.
