Following up on my previous post about the liberal bloggers trying to manipulate the media into giving them more mainstream media coverage. I thought I’d lay out the typical workflow of left wing and right wing bloggers. This will explain why the left wing bloggers don’t get as much ink from the big media.
The right wing workflow is from first hand experience… I’ve done this 1000 times.
1) Go to my favorite media outlet and read a news story that bashes: (pick 1 or many) Bush, America, U.S. Soldiers, a member of the Bush administration, Mom (unless she turned lesbian and threw Dad out) or Apple pie.
2) Sniff out that the reporter got the main fact or facts wrong.
3) Google up proof the reporter is full of shit.
4) Compile it all together and provide links to prove the media to be full of shit again.
5) Once in a blue moon, the media admits they were wrong.
1) Go to their favorite media outlet and read a news story that bashes: (pick 1 or many) Bush, America, U.S. Soldiers, a member of the Bush administration, Mom (unless she turned lesbian and threw Dad out) or Apple pie.
2) Post excerpt on blog.
3) Agree with every bogus fact, add nothing to the debate except except a link to last week’s [now discredited] story.
4) Then finish the post by calling Bush and/or Republicans a dumb name.
5) Whine when the media ignores you.
That THAT boys and girls is why liberal bloggers don’t get any ink.

P.S. Notice this is a HUMOR post, don’t get your panties in a twist.
Clever! Sounds accurate to me.
Filing it under ‘humor’? Try ‘truth’.
Good post. Humor must contain an element of truth to be effective. I think you hit it on the head.
Notice this is a HUMOR post
Not much to chuckle about in your post, because (like many SNL skits) it hits too close to the truth. You forgot an alternative workflow followed by some liberal bloggers:
1) Go to their favorite media outlet and read a story describing a plan by Bush, the US Senate, HOR etc.
2) Post excerpt on blog
3) Attack every point of the plan as stupid
4) Finish post by calling Bush and/or Republicans dumb name
5) Whine when media ignores you.
6) Ignore any follow up comments pointing out how Bush’s plan incorporates part of your proposal to fix said problem two weeks ago, and that you are basically attacking your own plan as well as his.
PS: Didn’t mean this to be funny. If it is, it is only in a “All those little critters of nature don’t know they’re ugly.” sort of way.
Great, thanks man. Now I’m thinking about lesbians and pie.
and don’t forget they have to blame everything on Halliburton, and greed for more oil! 🙂
Yes, and Godwin’s Law is a totally foreign concept to them.
lesbians and pie — mmmmmmmm
I have a simple formula for my blogging…
1. Print the truth.
Thank you and good day.
Magnum Serpentine:
I have a simple formula for my blogging…
1. Print the truth.
Hm… I think you might have forgotten part of it:
1. Print the “truth” (something in your case more closely the resembling the rambling of a dementia-inflicted circus clown).
2. Everybody should accept it is the truth, even if you have no links, or even if your logic is so completely swiss-cheesed that I could drive a semi-truck through the holes.
3. If somebody doesn’t accept your cheese product as the truth, denounce them as Republican Shills.
4. Above all, name call.
Alternate title: Oliver Willis Post Generator.
Nails exactly the nonsense I see every day, especially on the DU discussion boards.
Best one: the wild ravings of truthisall, with all the DU crowd nodding their heads in wise agreement.
RE: Joser’s post (March 14, 2005 12:45 PM)
I hope I don’t “sound so high and mighty” here, but did you mean to say “liberals and republicans”?
Are you sure you don’t mean “liberals and conservatives” or “Democrats and Republicans”? There is a difference.
Since I enjoy helping the moonbats, I’m offering this revision free of charge.
RE: Joser’s post (March 14, 2005 01:25 PM)
Does it matter really?
Yes. Philosophical foundations and political positioning are not the same thing.
And, thanks alot for helping prove my point while you’re at it. Fortunately, I don’t need some tagline to use as an insult.
Can I help it if I was more succinct? It took you considerably more sentences to camouflage yours though using stuff like “hate filled blog”, “high and mighty”, and other misplaced twigs won’t conceal your own hostility. And yes, Dr. Holmes, I revel in your keen observational skills. Do you think my usage of your rule #5 and certain select words was accidental or unintentional? Please turn in your Red Ryder decoder ring to the Sargeant.
Heh, lesbians and Pie…Who Dosen’t like pie?
I am still trying to figure out why the christian reconstructionist are so angery. They won everything under the sun, yet it seems they want more. Kind of like a little baby whining for more candy even after they cannot have any more.
thank you and good day.
angry

Here we see yet another form of liberal blogging displayed by the moonbats native to this region of the blogosphere:
1) Find conservative blog.
2) Post incoherent rant.

Joser says: Does it matter really?
To which AD says: Yes. Philosophical foundations and political positioning are not the same thing.
Do I smell SMOKE?
You need the liberal links. Remember, these people are at their best when they are allowed a platform from which to project their overarching theory of human hypocracy in government.
How are we supposed to defeat them in the elections if we don’t allow them the rope (and gallows – today’s blogosphere) by which they can hang themselves with no hands?
No, give them the links and a special place in your hearts.
After all, they know not what they do, nor are they capable of understanding the nuances that we call “reality”.
Concur Yr Analysis.
Principles, principled behaviour, and integrity
are NOT the same as political maneuvring!
Seems just about dead on
And Magnum Serpentine comes back to prove our point.
What? Where did he go? Oh, he is one of those elusive liberal snipers. Pops in on conservative blogs, leaves a pile of crap, then leaves.
