From Time Magazine, the Person Of The Year is George Bush.
The guys at Powerline got a nice article (subscriber only) profiling the three principals. Wizbang tangentially makes the issue via my washingtoniennearchive.blogspot.com work. I’m going to have to remember to update the Washingtonienne site…
cool – he deserves it. Thanks, Kev

The “award” by TIME is wonderful and wonderfully well deserved, enitrely based upon reality for a refreshing change compared to things such as, for very worst instance, the Nobel Awards and certain box office notice for certain, um, filmed works.
But that article by TIME, I’d say that they were certainly couching their award of Bush. On the other hand, I commend TIME for moving toward an editorial opinion that not only makes sense but isn’t conflicted.
Bush really, really deserves this mention, no doubt about it. Yeah, W! Steppin’ around all that liberal naysaying can’t be half wrong.
Same goes for PowerLine. It’s pretty nice to read that the majority of opinions are (finally) beginning to be noticed.
Glad President Bush appears on Time’s cover as Person of the Year, but the article itself stinks.
