Today’s first GOP Babe Of The Day is Garrette Silverman. She’s a Public Affairs specialist in the White House Budget Office. She’s volunteering in the Internet communications office (GOPConvention). That’s a Babes For Bush pin she’s wearing.
The second GOP Babe of the day is actress Angie Harmon, seen here after addressing the convention with her husband Jason Seahorn.

The third GOP Babe Of The Day is New York talk show host Monica Crowley.
Meow.
That almost sounds like a hint about the twins. Couldn’t be.
Could it?
I would love to get a Babes for Bush pin for my wife who is, A) a babe, and B) for Bush.
Any suggestions?
You call someone wearing flip-flops at the Repubican Convention a Babe? You should take up a collection to buy her some shoes. Some Manolo Blahniks, perhaps.
You ever walked 20 miles in Manolo Blahniks? Blister city! ummm…at least that’s what I hear.
Wowzers! Yeah, I need a “Babes for Bush pin for my g-friend, too. Where? Where?

Eh, she’s not bad. But then again you’re Republicans. I’ve been seeing you around town all week. Not a very attractive crew are you?
Also, I wasn’t sure if you guys knew or not, but about 85% of NYers really, really don’t want you here. Exploiting a tragedy for your own personal gain…how vile, disgusting, and sad.
peace,
a nyer
She looks like an “average” sorority chick in that getup, she is just missing the backpack.
Well NYer we favor brains over looks….you most likely fail on both counts.
Eh, she’s not bad. But then again you’re Republicans. I’ve been seeing you around town all week. Not a very attractive crew are you?
I think those are Dem protestors you’re thinking of. They’re also mostly the ones “exploiting a tragedy” for their “own personal gain”.
Richard,
Shame on you. You’re a guest in our city. And a god-fearing Christian, no? What would Falwell think…tsk, tsk.
See ya’ on the streets. 🙂
NYer and David,
What class you liberals/dems have! I personally think she’s cute, but it’s amazing how easy it is for you to judge when you know a person’s politics. I’ve spent time in NYC and … uh, no comment, NYer, ‘cus I ain’t gonna go to you’re level.
Worst yet, Garrette was nice enough to pose for the picture, you don’t think she’s going to visit Kevin’s site to see how the picture turned out; y’all are scumbags.
kevin
The only tragedy the protesters are exploiting is the RNC. Seriously, no one is happy you are here.
Hope our escorts are treating you well!
nyer,
“Eh, she’s not bad. But then again you’re Republicans. I’ve been seeing you around town all week. Not a very attractive crew are you?”
Uh… have you SEEN NYC dwellers? Overall, not the most attractive people (save the random supermodel).
And more importantly, I thought NYC was the city of diversity? When I lived in NYC, most people I met were delighted that they lived in a city that had so many cultures represented, so many beliefs there. But apparently this openness to diversity stops after skin color and doesn’t include diversity of ideas?
Republicans aren’t evil, and they’re not the enemy. They’re Americans too.
I meant no offense Garrette.
I shouldn’t have disparaged you. You are very attractive and politics ahouldn’t play a role in that. I’m sorry.
I, like everyone else, is just a bit peeved you and your ilk are here. Well, actually, seething with anger.
Just be respectful of us and don’t flaunt your Bush/Cheney-ness around us. Thank you.
Peace.
Hey nyer, grow the hell up.
nyer, What a horrible thing to say. The people you’re so peeved about welcoming into your city are your countrymen, excercising the same rights you have to express their beliefs. It’s democracy in action, and simply because their opinions don’t line up with yours you’re ready to deport them.
But I’m sure that if the DNC was held in NYC, you’d be completely fine with that right? You’d be totally happy to “flaunt” your Kerryness, right?
“If you agree with me, you have every complete access to the Bill of Rights. If you disagree with me, you have no access to the Bill of Rights”… something like that?
Ridiculous.
Hey I did not say she was ugly, and Politics have nothing to do with my babe radar. I just said she was average. Nothing wrong with that. But I agree, I did not think about the dropping by the Blog angle. I should have been more sensitive. She’s a babe! Almost makes me want to switch sides… There, is that better?
First, in response to your comment about diversity. The reason you are not welcome is because your party’s platform is exclusionary and the makeup of your party is anything but diverse. We love diversity. A few of you we can handle. But this is outrageous. Bush is roundly despised in NYC.
Republicans aren’t evil, and they’re not the enemy. They’re Americans too.
I’m sorry. I, like the rest of the people here, see you as evil. I never did before. But that was before Bush. What he has done to our country and our city is unforgivable. Didn’t you realize how rude it would be to come here? Huh?
I’m done. This is Garrette’s moment. And I apologize for ruining it. You’re very beautiful, Garrette.
Nyer is just bummed because she looks like she might not feel sorry for him. He depends on sympathy for dates. Garrette might just look at him and laugh…laugh at him for being so bitter and such a obvious loser.
Alas for Nyer Garrette probably would look at him and correctly deduce that life would be a miserable collection of bad times, with her having to pick up the check and open doors.
Pierre Legrand
Yes, the Democratic Party is the party of tolerance!*
*(Offer of tolerance not applicable to those who hold different views than themselves…)
Oh, and wowza!
“If you agree with me, you have every complete access to the Bill of Rights. If you disagree with me, you have no access to the Bill of Rights”… something like that?
A Republican schooling me on the Bill of Rights…priceless. Hey, you guys can say what you want and so will I. I don’t know how many times this has to be repeated, but your politics are despised here. Didn’t you realize this when you heard the RNC was in NYC? I feel like I’m talking to people from another planet. Don’t you read the papers (NY POST doesn’t count)?
Look, just realize it was rude to come here and exploit the deaths of my friends and family members. Extremely. You want patriotic? Look out the window of your hotel at the protesters. That is patriotic.
Goodnight!
Huh? Oh, oh yes. Yes, I was trying to read that pin you have there on your sweater.
Pierre Le Mort
Ahh…how nice of you to personally attack me. Perhaps you did not read my subsequent posts where I apologized and realized in writing that I was wrong to attack Garrette. Will I receive an apology from you? I highly doubt it. You are the party that Rove built.
NYer, you have a lot of bitterness in you. No one likes conventioneers of any party. (Except for libertarians. There are so few, you don’t even notice them.)
I agree, the flip-flops are kindof a a turn-off, but she’s at the Convention. She has to be professional AND comfortable. I’m sure she has got a couple of outfits in her closet that she wears out on the town that would make you double take.
PS No ring guys! Hey Garette, do you like tall men who drive 4Runners?
“your party’s platform is exclusionary”
So, telling Republicans that they should stay out of NYC is what, exactly?
This whole “you’re not welcome here” thing is getting on my nerves. I’m a republican and I LIVE IN NYC! Am I not welcome in my own city? Is it for Democrats only?!
Kind of sounds like you’re trying to exclude me…
NYer.
You should be thankful to republicans. After all it was a republican that cleaned up your city and made it liveable again.
Giuliani 2008!

Wow… there’s a whole lotta love in that comment. Tons of open mindedness too. The reason you don’t like “us” (which I never defined my political leanings, but since I disagree with you, I must be a Republican, right?) is because we’re exclusionary, but you want me to get out of “your” city. Uh… not to state the obvious, but isn’t that exclusionary?
Out of curiosity, are you in this crowd? http://jasonn.com/~blindpig/
How the hell did this turn into a political debate. Jeeze. Its all about the ladies… There is enough politics in the other post here. If any of you cats just want to view babes, non political ones at that, come over to In Search of Utopia. LOL!
Well, David, this is what the Left in America has come to.
Hey nyer, do you suppose any of the people David Letterman was talking about on September 17th, 2001 were Republicans?
“I’ll tell you about a thing that happened last night. There’s a town in Montana by the name of Choteau. It’s about a hundred miles south of the Canadian border. And I know a little something about this town. It’s 1,600 people. 1,600 people. And it’s an ag-business community, which means farming and ranching. And Montana’s been in the middle of a drought for… I don’t know… three years? And if you’ve got no rain, you can’t grow anything. And if you can’t grow anything, you can’t farm, and if you can’t grow anything, you can’t ranch, because the cattle don’t have anything to eat, and that’s the way life is in a small town. 1,600 people.
Last night at the high school auditorium in Choteau, Montana, they had a rally (home of the Bulldogs, by the way)… they had a rally for New York City. And not just a rally for New York City, but a rally to raise money… to raise money for New York City.
Thats bull McGehee, I am on the left and I dont need to make everything political.
McGehee, there’s idiots on both sides of the fence.
Well gee Nyer like I said, you are the victim eh. You had the audacity to come here out of sheer spite and insult a young woman who has done you no harm, then you post a half hearted apology while still attacking and expect an apology. Don’t hold your breath. You are not worthy of an apology.
By coming to NYC the Republicans have spit in the face of those who brought those buildings down. Whether you agree or not is irrelevant since this country is at war, not NYC. We are winning a victory by showing them they cannot shut us down.
You are the one filled with venom and hatred and I know you will suffer when GWB wins another 4 years. I will have a drink to your suffering. Maybe a nice Bordeaux will match the satisfaction I have over your inconvenience.
Now go sit down with the rest of the children or burn me in effigy I dont care.
Pierre Legrand

You’ve spit in the face of NYers who lost friends and family. And the Americans who trusted your party with guiding us through a difficult time. You can feed the rest of your crowd that crap, but it doesn’t fly here. The only thing that does fly, or better yet, should fly, is you. And the rest of your party. Out of NYC. At your earliest possible convenience. Thank you.
peace.
Thats bull McGehee, I am on the left and I dont need to make everything political.
Right. But you’re in Costa Rica.
But I am also American, and a proud one.
We don’t like you!
You smell!
We’re big tough talking NYer’s that won’t put up with any of your RNC shenanigan on OUR playground!
You’d better leave or we’ll run and whine about you being here to your mom! How dare you get invited here and pump a buttload of money into the local economy and take all the decent seats for all the good shows!
You’re mean nasty people!
You suck!
Screw it we’re gonna take our ball go home!
oh please,
please
please
Can we get a real NYer in here? One that can deal with a few tourists?
i’m here to support nyer…
bush is a liar. 1rst he says Iraq must be invaded bc they have WMDs. After that myth has been completely falsified “compassionate cons” (i.e., neocons) are content to say that Iraq NEEDED to be invaded to “fight the war on terrorism”. And the ultimate justification seems to be that “removing Saddam Hussein was good for the world”. Why not remove Ariel Sharon? By numbers, he has killed exponentially more people than Hussein.
It is despicable that the reps are taking making emotional appeals to 9/11 to support their neocon agenda (Pat Buchanan has demonstrated this agenda quite clearly). The international reputation of the US has never been worse internationally. That’s what 4 years of Bush has done for the US. Hooray. Bush’s moralistic good-evil rhetoric is laughable. Instead of investigating the real causes of 9/11 (an oppresive & ultimately racist foreign policy in the middle-east), Bush & his followers assume that “evil terrorists” hate America bc they are jealous of “our freedom”. The decision to attack Iraq (an obvious target bc of their proximity to Israel & their oil resources) has exacerbated hatred of America & made the world a more dangerous place. The only thing more embarassing than Bush’s low-level thought is the proportion of Americans who blindly support Bush’s agenda. It demonstrates the lack of critical thought that Americans are notorious for internationally.
the fact that you reps set up this site to ogle women illustrates desperation, bad taste, and the need of rep. men to find immediate fulfillment of their hedonistic desires. I find it offensive and degrading to women.
PS- I doubt that this post will be kept up (neocons have a tendency to censor things that conflict with their ideologies).
I like Babes. I like Bush.
I’m Mr. Right….now.
