I never would have guessed Bill Clinton to be ironically challenged:
After Sharing the White House, Sharing a Critique of the G.O.P
Former President Bill Clinton offered a hard-hitting attack against the Republican Party yesterday, telling worshipers gathered at Riverside Church that President Bush and the Republicans are distorting John Kerry’s war record in Vietnam.
“Sometimes I think our friends on the other side have become the people of the Nine Commandments,” Mr. Clinton said. “It is wrong to bear false witness.”
Does Bill Clinton really want to get into a debate about breaking any of the Ten Commandments?
Only Clinton would have the audacity to try this and the ability to get away with it.
The crazy thing is, most of his supporters could care less. Lie? What lie?
Adultery? What adultery?
Do his supporters know what a commandment is?
Say, don’t we have “separation of church and state” in this country? What’s this discussion of politics in church? No doubt I’ll see this fully investigated by that dedicated group of citizens concerned about churches violating their 501(c)(3) rules…………right.
Do I have this right?
The former president who pleaded GUILTY to charges of PERJURY is accusing the opposition of LYING?
Am I the only one who just suffered a failure of the hypocrisy meter after it broke though the high peg and wrapped around?
What sheer and unmitigated gall.
Then again, what does it say about the candidates relationship with the truth when a convicted perjurer is championing his cause?

I can’t help but wonder who they were worshiping that day. Bubba was preaching to the choir, no doubt (pun intended).
I guess it all depends on what the meaning of “thou shalt not” is.
Thou shalt not covet… The dems entire social policy is built on coveting, viz. “Two Americas.”
Idolatry: can anyone think of some false gods Clinton raised up? How about himself?
Those are the commandments you were thinking of, right, Wizbang?
Riverside Church is a hellhole of the Old Left, and I mean geriatric. William Sloane Coffin, etc. For Bill Clinton to go there…it’s beyond shameless.

What a douchebag…..*shake head*
Who whacks Clinton off nowadays?
Has Clinton every NOT used a church to further his agenda(himself)?
I think to be fair, one should note that the Commandments do not in fact state “Thou shalt not engage on oral sex with an intern, nor use a cigar to penetrate her holiest of holies, nor shalt thou leavest a stain upon her blue dress, and neither shalt thou commit perjury nor suborn the perjury of others in an attempt to conceal this activity from the voters.”

“Thou shalt not engage in oral sex with an intern, nor use a cigar to penetrate her holiest of holies, nor shalt thou leavest a stain upon her blue dress, and neither shalt thou commit perjury nor suborn the perjury of others in an attempt to conceal this profane activity from the sacred voters.”
That’s too funny, but the NY Times gets off a good one of their own.
The sharp criticisms by Mr. Clinton, who has remained relatively quiet during the presidential campaign, were noteworthy, given the long tradition among former presidents of refraining from waging attacks on sitting presidents.
That’s pretty darn funny too. Carter has done little but attack Bush and Clinton has gone back and forth. One day he attacks the next day he plays nice.
The left has become parody-proof.
He’s slicker than owl @*&$ on a wet rock, he is.
Wait a minute, let me regain my bearings…
Bill Clinton just cracked wise about the Ten Commandments, and took a shot at someone about bearing false witness?
(cough) Did not (cough) sex (cough) that woman …
After sending Gollum out to trash Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, and every other woman who ever tried to get his hand off their knee, Bill Clinton’s going to complain about false witness?
Note to Clinton: At 9 commandments, they still have you beat by at least 2…
STOP THE TAPE! This is just another pathetic attempt to invoke a semblance of moral *high ground* into the debate. You may not remember this but I do (not ONLY is it seared in my memory, I recorded it and kept the transcript) — this is the same man who quoted 1 Corinthians 2:9 in his acceptance speech at his first convention, saying: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, WHAT WE CAN BUILD.”
Here are the actual words in the KJV (pick your OWN version, it won’t change much): “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
Just a *stretch* perhaps? Or maybe a *misquote*? Nope. I wrote the Clinton campaign shortly after his speech and took them to task with quite a lengthy letter. Their reply . . . “Thank you for your support.”
Just another example of what I have come to call, “Demotransmogrification.” It must be some kind of special seminar that Ted Kennedy teaches in his basement on the weekends. It certainly permeates the Left.
When it comes to breaking the Commandments, Clinton is an expert.
“separation of church and state”
I love that one. Show that to me in the Constitution…if you can find it. (Don’t hold your breath).
Sheesh.
